My first font!
Typography is key to a lot of my designs, so often I have to make my own typefaces. Mostly that is a joyful experience.
I wanted to go ahead and make a full font and decided to start with something simple – result displayed above.
I used Fontographer to make this font, maybe not the best choice? After getting to understand the program enough, the actual making of the font was fairly easy, but took a lot of time and patience. While using Fontographer I couldn’t help thinking I was doing something wrong – in my opinion a program designed for making fonts should be fast and easy! Was I doing something wrong?

I’ve been hired by the highly talented Niim the Dream Productions to do a redesign of their website. The client wants a dark and grungy feel to the new site.
